QUARTZ WILD LIVING WOOL RUG
Quartz is a real GEM in every way, her light silvery multi-toned wool, her super soft wool thats full of varitions in texture from the long tog (the longer outer layer of wool as they are duel coated sheep) strands, to the tight curly inner thel layer. She is also HUGE! One of the largest i've ever made! The rug is approx 170 cm x 140cm and would cover a double sofa or bed quite easily. Or be a cover for a single cosy chair to sink into narnia land on these cold winter nights.
The nature of these rugs means they look like sheepskins, but the sheep is still alive in my flock and munching away on pasture to grow next years fleece for me. This fleece came from a boy i had named "googly" I used the ancient felting technique (I teach this method in workshops and online) to create a strong, resilient yet flexible backing which is just as hardy as leather in many ways. On the long fleece side, It is soft, fluffy and looks as it did when she was wearing her wool. Organically raised and created by hand.
This is perfect for snuggling into on your bed or sofa, fireside or lounge rug. A true heirloom for many years to come!

CARE
The wild wool rugs are handmade using 100% pure, organically raised wool and crafted using organic methods and natural, chemical free soap. Sponge clean or soak overnight in eco wash detergent, then drip dry.
DO NOT put in the washing machine or agitate too much or the rug will felt into a ball!
