ROWAN'S WILD WOOL RUG
This small Wild Wool Rug is from Rowan. A little lamb who was born from my best girl UNO. She is such a sweet little girl, vey shy and loves hedgerows (hence the name) but also, this reflects in her fleece! Her wool is so soft but it does contain much of the hedgerow still ha ha! I spend hours getting the feral seeds and hay from their coats but hers still has a few spots that refuse to emerge and would ruin the wool if i continued to brush at them. Hence the price, and i hope you think it adds to the character! Her wool is off white wool with brown/grey flecks in it.
The rug is approx 125 x110cm.
The nature of these rugs means they look like sheepskins, but the sheep is still alive in my flock and munching away on pasture to grow next years fleece for me. I used an ancient felting technique (I teach this method in workshops and online) to create a strong, resilient yet flexible backing which is just as hardy as leather in many ways. Organically raised and crafted by hand.
This is perfect for snuggling into on your bed or sofa, fireside or lounge rug. A true heirloom for many years to come!

CARE
The wild wool rugs are handmade using 100% pure, organically raised wool and crafted using organic methods and natural, chemical free soap. Sponge clean or soak overnight in eco wash detergent, then drip dry.
DO NOT put in the washing machine or agitate too much or the rug will felt into a ball!

Each rug is unique and made to my highest standards. All items leave my care in excellent condition and due to the nature of my business i do not offer returns or refunds.

I do combine postage on multiple items if it is not done automatically at checkout I will refund you any overcharges after checkout.
Post Packaging- In an effort to be more eco-friendly most of the outer post packaging I send items in is re-used aka recycled packaging that we have received parcels in ourselves or that has been gifted to me to put to good use.
OVERSEAS BUYERS- will incur an extra postage charge which may vary depending on location including the newly imposed duty of 10/20% placed on goods coming into the USA. I am not responsible for any charges added by customs in your country.
PLEASE NOTE> I send tracked within the UK and parcels are covered for the full cost of the rug. Anyone buying from outside the UK - The parcels leave my hands with tracking using Royal Mail or similar carrier service. I am not responsible for any parcels going overseas which are lost or damaged but i will do my best to remedy the situation. So buying is at your own risk.
