ROBYN THE RAM WILD WOOL RUG
This beautiful Wild Felted Living Wool rug is from one of the fathers of my flock called Robyn.
If you've been following me for a while you will know his legacy and that he sadly recently died. He was brother to Aslan (also for sale) and in life they were inseperable.
So to pay homage to his gentle strength and heritage in my flock his rug is available exclusively and will be a treasure for anyone who welcomes him into their home. He was one of the best sheep i've ever owned and has given me many beautiful lambs fro m his lineage over the years.
The rug is as stunning as he was, with a magical array of colours in grey, silver, black and chestnut tips. It's soft and vey thick with a size of 140 cm x 135cm (approx).
This is perfect for snuggling into on your bed or sofa, floor, fireside, campervan or yurt. This is a true heirloom rug and will last for many years to come.
The nature of these rugs means they look like sheepskins, but the sheep is still alive in my flock and munching away on pasture to grow next years fleece for me. I use the ancient felting technique (I teach this method in workshops and online) to creat a strong, resilient yet flexible backing which is just as hardy as leather in many ways.
The rugs and felts have an essence of nature about them. They are wild, rugged and yet incredibly soft, warm and durable. They reflect the colours of the Earth in all its diversity and therefore every item is bespoke and individual with no two being the same, focusing on organic and environmentally friendly creation.

CARE
The wild wool rugs are handmade using 100% pure, organically raised wool and crafted using organic methods and natural, chemical free soap. Sponge clean or soak overnight in eco wash detergent, then drip dry.
DO NOT put in the washing machine or agitate too much or the rug will felt into a ball!

Each rug is unique and made to my highest standards. All items leave my care in excellent condition and due to the nature of my business i do not offer returns or refunds.
