SILVER WILDCRAFTED WOOL RUG
Here is SILVER'S beautiful wild felted wool rug. Her wool is rare colours of super soft with long locks in Silvery grey with brown/grey curl tips. This was from her first lambs fleece. She has got lighter in her regrowth.
The rug is approx large ciming in at 150 x 120cm.
The nature of these rugs means they look like sheepskins, but the sheep is still alive in my flock and munching away on pasture to grow next years fleece for me. I used an ancient felting technique (I teach this method in workshops and online) to create a strong, resilient yet flexible backing which is just as hardy as leather in many ways. On the long fleece side, It is soft, fluffy and looks as it did when he was wearing his wool coat. Organically raised and crafted by hand.
This is perfect for snuggling into on your bed or sofa, fireside or lounge rug. A true heirloom for many years to come!
