WILD LIVING WOOL RUG DEPOSIT
I have opened up this commission order system for my American friends only at this time due to unstable world events and possible excessive tarrifs in the near future.
This is a deposit only towards a 'WILD LIVING WOOL RUG' handmade specifically for you.
The nature of these rugs means they look like sheepskins, but the sheep is still alive in my flock and munching away on pasture to grow next years fleece for me. I use the ancient felting technique (I teach this method in workshops and online) to create a strong, resilient yet flexible backing which is just as hardy as leather in many ways.
I have pure Icelandic and Icelandic X Shetland fleeces available and sometimes I have Herdwick and other crosses!
Your deposit will go towards the total cost of the purchase. My 'WILD LIVING WOOL RUGS' are backed with felt not leather. Eco-friendly, vegetarian and organic. They are priced between £250-£450 + approx
Shipping within the UK is £15. Worldwide starting at £35 for rugs under 2kg but most are over 2kg and shipping can be as much as £80 including 10% duty fees (weight depending). You just need to choose the colour specification you prefer and I will find you the perfect fleece from my flock to suit. I will then send you a picture to confirm your preference of fleece and then make your rug. Once completed you pay the final balance and I will ship to you tracked and insured. The rug comes complete with care instructions.
Please note ** This deposit can only be used to place a specific order for your own unique rug, in the requested colour preference. This deposit does not apply to any other rug I upload to my website or stories. If you reqire anymore details please get in touch.
***PLEASE NOTE*** Current wait time I estimate at 3-6 weeks currently. This may change and be sooner, or longer depending on order influx. I will however keep you updated. if you require the rug before then or a specific date please message me and I’ll try to accommodate your request.

Shipping and Returns
Combined Postage-
I do combine postage on multiple items if it is not done automatically at checkout I will refund you any overcharges after checkout. Post Packaging- In an effort to be more eco-friendly most of the outer post packaging I send items in is reused aka recycled packaging that we have received parcels in ourselves or that has been gifted to me to put to good use.
OVERSEAS BUYERS- will incur an extra postage charge which may vary depending on location.
RETURNS- If you are unhappy with your item please contact me within 7 days of receiving it. All items must be returned in their original unused condition and buyer pays return postage. If you have any problems with your order please contact me and I will do my best to help.
